Sofia Thorpe is an independent film director based in the Midlands, UK.

 

She directs content in fiction and documentary and has a particular interest in family dynamics and resilient young indivuduals. Sofia draws from her own experiences growing up in the Midlands.

 

Sofia's latest work has submitted her films into Underwire and Encounters. Sofia is currently in production producing a documentary due to be complete in June 2020.
